The
portraits by Cavazzon are different one from the other. Not
because the faces are different: it would be easy. They are
different because the psychological and social research of each
character gives life to a story, which is unique and unrepeatable.
Individual. And which comes through in the technique, in the
support, and in the colors. In such a way that these portraits are
not only “portraits”, but are “pictures” as they go beyond
the cage of the subject’s representation. |

ritratti di Cavazzon sono uno diverso dall’altro. Non perché i
volti siano diversi: sarebbe facile. Sono diversi perché la
ricerca psicologica e sociale di ogni personaggio dà vita ad una
storia unica e irripetibile. Individuale. E individuabile nella
tecnica, nel supporto, nei colori. Tanto che questi ritratti non
sono soltanto “ritratti”, ma sono dei “quadri” perché
superano l’ingabbiatura della rappresentazione del
soggetto. |
